Last May, 27-year-old actress and popular adult video idol Mihiro came out with an autobiographical novel called nude. Now it’s been announced that her book is being turned into a movie.

Following Mihiro’s actual experiences, Naoko Watanabe (25) will star as a young woman named Hiromi who moves from Niigata to Tokyo to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She’s eventually discovered on the street by an AV scout and decides to enter the adult entertainment industry under the stage name Mihiro against the objections of her boyfriend and others around her.

Mihiro started her career by appearing fully nude in “image videos”, the first of which was appropriately called “Dream: 19-year-old Mihiro”. She began starring in adult videos in 2005 and gained a fair amount of popularity which she’s recently parlayed into roles in non-porn films like Samurai Princess and 8000 Miles. Earlier this year, she announced that she’ll be retiring from AV and nude work entirely as of June, but she also stated she has no regrets and will continue working in other areas of the entertainment industry.

Director Yuichi Onuma (Suicide Manual 2, Maid in Akiba) with begin filming “nude” on May 17th with a release planned for September.

Turns out director Noboru Iguchi (The Machine Girl, Sukeban Boy) fills his time between bizarre theatrical projects with even more bizarre AV projects. Here's a pretty good example: "Hypertrophy Genitals Girl" (Hidai Kasei Utsuwa Shojo) was released in Japan this past Saturday and stars 21-year-old adult video actress Tsubomi as a young girl who suddenly starts growing a giant dong. Shamed by gawkers and insults, two girls become prisoners of their newly-swollen private parts -- "But when genitals are enlarged, the pleasure doubles!"
