US label Pink Eiga will be releasing Daisuke Goto's Blind Love (Waisetsu Stage Nandomo Tsukkonde, 2006) on region-free DVD in later this month.

The story involves a blind girl (Konatsu) who falls in love with a ventriloquist named Daisuke (Shota Kotaki) by listening to his act, "The Stretch and Shorty Show". When she meets him, she mistakenly thinks his tall friend is really him. Daisuke plays along, utilizing his friend as his real-life ventriloquist dummy in an unorthodox 3-way relationship.

Goto also directed "A Lonely Cow Weeps at Dawn", “Scorpion's Revenge”, and the 1995 version of “Zero Woman”.

US label Pink Eiga will be releasing Academy Award-winner and former pinku director Yojiro Takita's Groper Train: Search For The Black Pearl (Chikan Densha: Shitagi Kensatsu, 1984) on all-region DVD in November.

Actually the sixth installment of the Groper Train series, the film begins in earnest as a dying war veteran with knowledge of the location of the world's largest black pearl utters a mysterious clue to his wife Matsuko with his dying breath - "pussy print". Matsuko hires a world famous detective named Ippei to help her find the pearl, but he runs out of ideas after a particularly intimate investigation of young girls on a crowded train. Enter mystery writer Seichi Matsuki, who eventually helps reveal the surprising location of the pearl, but not before a series of double crosses and sexual escapades.

Hong Kong DVD label CN Entertainment will be releasing Daisuke Goto’s Shin Kankin Toubo (2008) with English subtitles in early July. The title translates to something like “New Captive Runaway” and the “New” is based on the fact that Kankin Toubo was a hit original video series from the 90s.

Plot: A girl (Sakurano) wakes up chained up in a dark boiler room, unsure of how she got there. She’s soon approached by a strange large man wearing a mask and using a creepy voice changer. The girl is the daughter of Daisuke (Kenji Ezure), the shrewd president of a general contracting company. Daisuke was too occupied with an ongoing sexual fling with his secretary (Asami) to notice that his daughter was missing at first, and his relationship with her was already strained due to a certain incident in the past, but when he receives a threatening phone call he eventually recognizes the gravity of the situation. Eventually his daughter begins to calm down as her fear slowly turns into a perverse attraction to this strange person holding her captive. What is the kidnapper’s motive? And what is his true form? In the basement of a certain building, insanity merges with obscenity as the plot unfolds.
