The Asylum SessionLast night I did a little poking around the official website for Tact Aoki‘s upcoming 3D anime, The Asylum Session and found a link to this interview with Aoki including some footage from the movie. Apparently the site was updated a few hours later with the full trailer for the movie.

According to ANN, the story is set in a future in which human civilization has stopped advancing and has even started to decline. A girl named Hiyoko runs away from home to live in a tent city inside a stadium nicknamed “Asylum”. It’s there that she befriends Akira and a group of children who want to stop police from tearing down the stadium for their own gain. Together, the Asylum residents create a street culture event called “The Asylum Session” to stop the demolition plans.

Whoops! There should be a video embedded here. Chances are you’re viewing this article in a feed reader or on a device that doesn’t support Flash. If not, try installing Adobe Flash Player.
