Gekijoban Gintama: Shin-yaku Benizakura-henSeems as though some of the details on this one were already released a while back in issue 48 of Weekly Shonen Jump, but the upcoming theatrical adaptation of the popular manga and anime series Gintama has finally been officially announced via press release. The film will be titled Gekijoban Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-hen and will be a re-interpretation of the Benizakura story arc. Issue 49 of Weekly Shonen Jump (dated November 2, 2009) contains a full feature on the film and an official website is now live.

“Gekijoban Gintama: Shinyaku Benizakura-hen” will be released by Warner Bros. sometime during Golden Week 2010.
