Top 5 Moments From Death Note I & II

MTV Iggy has put together a video clip of their top 5 favorite moments from live-action Death Note and Death Note II: The Last Name. But the real story here is that MTV actually started an English-language blog that pays attention to Asian pop culture (well it was news to me, at least). They've been making a hard push on behalf of South Korean pop star BoA and her new English-language album lately, and they apparently have some sort of irrational fascination with Bai Ling.

It's going to be interesting to see how they evolve and what they choose to cover in the future, but throwing their support behind a Viz Pictures theatrical release ain't a bad start.

Incidentally, there's still time to catch a dubbed screening of "Death Note: L, change the WorLd" tomorrow night (4/30). (editor's note: dead link removed)
