TV commercial for Miike’s Zatoichi stage play -UPDATED-

I posted this commercial yesterday thinking it was just an advertisement for Takashi Miike‘s Zatoichi stage play starring Show Aikawa. But it turns out it’s actually going to be broadcast in high definition on WOWOW on February 16, 2008 at 2pm. Please for the love of everything holy, someone video capture this. Not that I condone that sort of thing. As long as I’m editing the post anyway here’s a higher bitrate version of the same commercial…

I posted this same comment on Twitch but I think that the clip is an advertisement for a TV broadcast of the stage show. If you notice the final part of the clip, there’s a small “HV” below and to the right of the kanji for “Zatoichi”. “HV” stands for “High Vision” or HDTV so it’s likely that one of the cable networks like WOWOW is broadcasting one of the performances. Partially from lblisters comment above, I’m pretty sure this show has been playing since last October or November.
