In 1945 the nazis transport the heart of Frankenstein to Hiroshima right before it gets bombed by allied forces. Years later the heart has somehow transformed into a feral boy with regeneration and growth powers. When a monster called Baragon attacks the city Frankenstein is initially blamed for the destruction, but his name is cleared when he comes to the rescue and the two giant monsters clash in an epic battle.

A group of children are trained to be assassins known as “Demon Spies” deep in the mountains of feudal Japan. Their identities remain secret and they’re subjected to fatal tests to prove their skills. Eventually a group of five are sent on a deadly mission to discover and destroy a secret arsenal while Lord Shogen, the Demon Hunter attempts to destroy them.

The new poster art for the Stephen Chow-produced Shaolin Girl was released today, with more cast members featured along with the film’s star, Kou Shibasaki. Starting on March 8th these will start getting plastered all over Japanese theaters, leading up to its release on April 26th.

A low-ranking yakuza named Junpei steals 500 million yen from his own gang and subsequently gets sent to prison for 5 years, a modest penalty considering the alternative. When he gets out he hires a professional bodyguard named Kiba to protect him as he makes his way to the hiding place of the stolen cash. Along the way they’re confronted by vengeful yakuza and students from a rival dojo who hold a grudge against Kiba for his unabashed bravado regarding his martial arts skills.
