Casting call for Juri Ueno’s next movie, ‘Gorilla Butterfly’

Juri Ueno’s next film project, tentatively titled Gorilla Butterfly, is now in the process of casting extras for various scenes. I don’t think the initial press conference has been held yet so details are sparse, but we do know it’s being distributed by Toho and co-produced by Altamira Pictures and Ueno’s talent agency, Amuse.

Main cast:
Juri Ueno as Sakura Onigawara (Goriko)
Kazuki Otake as Coach
Hiroko Uchi as Macchan
Hisahiro Ogura as Father

Extras needed:
20 Members of the press (wearing suits)
10 Convenience store shoppers
15 Supermarket shoppers (housewife only. bring own apron...)
10 Passers-by for a shopping district (those who have experience carrying mikoshi aka portable shrine before are welcomed)
30 Commuters in front of train station
7 Salaryman/OL coming home from work
40 Entertainment fans for live event in Akihabara
100 Train commuters, salary man, students
100 Adults and children for athletic meet

No clue what it’s about yet, but it will be released sometime in Fall of 2009.
