English-subtitled trailer for Shinya Tsukamoto’s ‘Nightmare Detective 2’

A subtitled trailer for Shinya Tsukamoto‘s Nightmare Detective 2 popped up on YouTube yesterday. I have no idea where, why, or how this originated (maybe a promo from Cannes) but it looks to be a real corker. This time around Nightmare Detective Kyoichi Kagenuma (Ryuhei Matsuda) reluctantly helps a school girl named Yukie who is convinced her next nightmare about a former classmate will kill her in the same way it killed her friends. Currently there’s no solid release date and the official website isn’t live yet, but I’m sure more will be coming out very soon. Check out the aspect ratio-adjusted trailer after the break.

WOW! I loved the nightmare detective and was really hoping that there would be a sequel as mentioned in the extras on the DVD.... Can´t wait! :)
