1-Ichi - Unearthed Films

See the back-story of the sadistic assassin first portrayed by Nao Omori in Takashi Miike‘s “Ichi the Killer”. In this prequel by Miike’s long-time assistant director Masato Tanno, we see Ichi in his high school days, before he discovers his abilities as a psychotic killing machine. Ichi is infatuated by watching bullies hurt people. One bully in particular, Mr. Dai (Teah) intrigues him enough to secretly watch from afar whenever he’s fighting. However, Dai takes this as a challenge and decides he won’t give up until Ichi fights him. Meanwhile, a transfer student named Onizame (Koji Chihara) is quickly asserting himself as the new tough kid in school, but when he starts relentlessly badgering Ichi he has no idea what horrors he will eventually unleash.
