Big Man Japan (Dai Nipponjin, 2007) is a mockumentary following a normal guy named Dai Sato who is able to transform into a giant super-hero when he is infused with electricity at a local power plant. Once transformed, he does battle with other giant monsters who threaten the city.

This is a Hong Kong release. For the UK release by Revolver Entertainment, see this link. Region 2, NTSC, 2 discs. Japanese audio with optional English and Chinese subtitles. Features include interviews, trailers, and Cannes footage.

@yobgol It's one of those kanji with a non-obvious reading so they put the furigana next to it. I thought it was "madoka" for a while (2 days, 20 hours, 21 minutes ago)
