DVD release - Ichi the Killer: Blood Pack (Tokyo Shock) available on May 29, 2007

Media Blasters sub-label Tokyo Shock will be re-releasing Takashi Miike’s Ichi the Killer on special edition “Blood Pack” DVD on May 29th.

Plot: When a yakuza boss goes missing, one of his underlings, Kakihara (Tadanobu Asano), makes it his mission to find out who’s responsible. A masochist at heart, Kakihara is intrigued by the trail of blood and guts which eventually leads him to Ichi (Nao Omori) - a brain-washed killer with an immeasurable potential for destruction and a highly unstable personality to go along with it.

Specs: Region 1, NTSC, 2 discs. Both English and Japanese audio tracks are included with selectable English subs. This is the uncut, unrated version of the film with over 2 hours of bonus features.
