The Danger After Dark Collection by TLA releasing features Suicide Club, Moon Child, and 2LDK.
In Suicide Club (Jisatsu Circle, 2002), 54 seemingly happy giggling schoolgirls commit group suicide by throwing themselves in front of a subway car. Soon after, a wave of inexplicable suicides sweep across Tokyo leaving police baffled. Detectives catch wind of a strange website which is tracking the suicides before they occur, and soon lead Detective Kuroda (Ryo Ishibashi) finds even his own family has been influenced in some way. In Moon Child (2003), most of Asia in turmoil and Japanese citizens at the lowest rung of society a group of Japanese orphans cross paths with a vampire named Kei (Hyde). Kei acts as a mentor to one of the boys, Sho (Gackt), and watches over him as he grows into adulthood. Their tight-knit group of friends eventually buckles under the strain of the violent world they live in and after seemingly all hope is lost they must eventually come to terms with their own existence in it. In 2LDK (2003), Nozomi (Eiko Koike) and Lana (Maho Nonami) are two actress roommates who are up for the same role in a major upcoming film project. Their patience with each other gradually wears off and mild annoyance escalates into a final showdown of extreme violence utilizing an arsenal of common household objects.
