In Dead or Alive (1999), a gang of Triads led by Ryuuchi (Riki Takeuchi) attempt to seize control of the Shinjuku underworld by force. In Dead or Alive 2: Birds (2000), hitman Okamoto (Show Aikawa) is hired to assassinate a gangster, only to witness another man (Riki Takeuchi) killing him first. He takes his payoff anyway and flees the city with both yakuza and triads out for revenge. Retreating back to the island he grew up, he happens to run into the hitman from before. It’s his childhood friend, Sawada. The two hitmen team up to rid the world of all gang bosses and drug dealers once and for all. Anamorphic widescreen. Includes trailers.

In Dead or Alive 3: Final (2002), a cop (Riki Takeuchi) teams up with an android (Show Aikawa) to rescue his kidnapped son from a gang of rebels in post-apocalyptic future Yokohama. Letterboxed. Includes trailers. [Watch trailer]
