Koheita (Koji Yakushi) is a samurai who’s so known for mischief and debauchery he becomes known as “Dora-Heita” (Alley Cat). Because of this, it seems bizarre that he eventually gets appointed magistrate of a highly corrupt township, but it all turns out to be an eleborate ruse to expose the real criminals and trick the other samurai who don’t approve of his past.
