Armed with a budget of $30 million, Shinichiro Sawai’s melodramatic Genghis Khan biopoc covers everything from the man’s private life to his ruthless ambition as a conqueror. Thousands of extras were used to portray Khan’s battles on the way to creating the largest empire in history.
