Give It All [Special Edition] - Pony Canyon

In Give It All (Ganbatte Ikimasshoi, 1998), teenage schoolgirl Etsuko (Rena Tanaka) gets inspired while standing on the shore watching a rowing team glide through the water off in the distance. Determined to get into rowing herself, she sets out to join a rowing team. However, when she’s rejected and discovers there is no all-girl rowing team she makes one herself and aggressively recruits four other girls into joining. No longer worrying about bad grades or overachieving older sisters, the girls dip their oars into the water and begin to row against all odds.
