UK distributor Momentum Pictures will be releasing Kazuaki Kiriya’s 2009 action film Goemon on region 2 DVD with English subtitles on August 16th.
Plot: In the year 1582, Japan’s ruler, Nobunga, has been brutally murdered. Nobunga’s friend, a master thief named Goemon, uncovers evidence which reveals an insidious pact between two men which led to the assassination. Now Goemon must use his tremendous physical skills to rid Japan of evil and greed while avenging the wrongful death of his friend.
Specs: Region 2, PAL. Japanese audio with English subtitles. Features include making-of featurettes and an interview with director Kazuaki Kiriya.
