DVD release - Heartbreak Yakuza (Cinema Epoch) available on November 10, 2009

In Masato Harada’s Heartbreak Yakuza (Saraba Itoshiki Hito yo, 1987), Hiromi Go plays a good-looking young assassin named Shuji who works for the Daito crime family. When he is sent on a mission to take out a rival gang, he ends up letting one of them go in a moment of mercy. Instead of being appreciative, the survivor plans his revenge. Meanwhile, Shuji is reunited with a childhood sweetheart and feels inspired to turn away from his life of crime for love. Unfortunately for him, however, he won’t be able to win his freedom peacefully.
