Blu-ray release - Hotel Hibiscus (Bandai Visual) available on 7/23/2009

Yuji Nakae‘s Hotel Hibiscus (2004) will be released on Blu-ray disc with English and Japanese subtitles this July.
The film is based on a popular manga by Miiko Nakasone and tells a comical story through the eyes of a young girl named Mieko (Honami Kurashita) based on her experiences one summer at her family’s small, run-down hotel in sunny Okinawa.
Region-free Blu-ray, 16:9 anamorphic widescreen, 1080p HD. Japanese Linear PCM stereo audio with selectable English and Japanese subtitles. Features include theatrical trailer, TV spot, and making-of featurette.

I also noticed that Nakae’s “Nabbie’s Love” will be coming out on Blu-ray on the same day, also with English subs.
