Yuji Nakae’s Hotel Hibiscus (2004) is based on a popular manga by Miiko Nakasone and tells a comical story through the eyes of a young girl named Mieko (Honami Kurashita) based on her experiences one summer at her family’s small, run-down hotel in sunny Okinawa.
Region 2, NTSC, 16:9 anamorphic widescreen. Japanese audio with selectable English and Japanese subtitles. Features include theatrical trailer, TV spot, and making-of featurette.
