The part of the human unconscious mind that drives all selfish desires is known as the “id” in psychology. Our conscious mind partially represses the id to help us fit in with civilized society. This film, directed by Kei Fujiwara, explores what would happen if the id was allowed to take over a human mind completely, allowing people to be driven completely by their innermost desires without any logical thought or worrying about consequences.
