Kisses - Yume Pictures

In Kisses (Kuchizuke, 1957), a young girl and boy visit their respective parents in jail. His father is in jail for an election day violation. Her father stole money to pay for her mother’s hospital bills. In fact, she was so desperate to hide this fact from her mother that she considered working as a prostitute to earn the bail money. The two youths in similar desperate situations fall deeply in love and decide to escape their problems by taking off on a motorbike and heading to the beach for a carefree fling.
