Yuki Kashima (Meiko Kaji) is sentenced to death by hanging after having been found guilty of multiple murders. She’s released by the head of the secret police, Seishiro (Shin Kishida), on the condition that she aid him by killing the leader of a rebel uprising that could threaten the Emperor. Never one to shy away from the life of an outlaw and resolute in her personal code, Lady Snowblood has other plans for her sword.
