Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack release - Legend of the Millennium Dragon (Sony Pictures) available on October 4, 2011

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will be releasing Hirotsugu Kawasaki’s 2011 animated film Legend of the Millennium Dragon (Onigamiden) on Blu-ray/DVD combo pack in North America on October 4, 2011.

Plot: Based on Takafumi Takada’s 2-volume 2004 novel of the same name, the story is primarily set in Heian period Kyoto during a time of fierce fighting between people and “oni” (demons). Somehow, a 15-year-old modern-day boy named Jun Tendo slips back in time 1200 years and finds himself thrown into the middle of the ancient battle.
