Love Tomato - Toei Video

In Love Tomato (Koisuru Tomato), a middle-aged farmer named Masao Noda (Yasuo Daichi) is an honest, hard-working man that hasn’t had much luck in love. When he gets set up with a Filipino woman named Liberty (Ruby Moreno), the two decide tog et married and Masao must borrow money from his Agricultural Association for a trip to the Philippines. However, it all turns out to be a scam and he gets stranded in Manila with no money. With no options left to him, he stays there to work and eventually meets a beautiful farmer’s daughter named Christina (Alice Dixson) who shares an interest in farming and brightens his outlook on life and love.
