Maborosi - New Yorker Video

Yumiko (Makiko Esumi) and Ikuo (Tadanobu Asano) are a young couple who recently had a baby. One day Ikuo is walking along the railroad tracks and seemingly allows himself to be hit by a train for no apparent reason. A few years pass later Yumiko marries another man named Tamio (Takashi Naito) who also lost his spouse. An argument between the new couple triggers a conversation about unresolved emotions for their deceased lovers and they try to figure out events from the past.
