In Kensaku Sawada’s 2007 big screen adaptation of “Journey to the West”’, Monkey Magic (Saiyuuki) brings back the same cast from the smash hit Fuji TV drama and delivers the same zany humor and fast-paced action audiences have come to expect from the series. Son Goku (Shingo Katori) and his traveling companions encounter a princess whose parents have been turned into turtles by two powerful demons. Never willing to pass up a good adventure, the foursome head to the mystical mountains to pick a fight.
This is a UK Blu-ray release. Japanese Dolby 5.1 audio with English subtitles. Disc includes TV spots and trailer.
