DVD release - Mushi-Shi: The Movie (Funimation) available on 8/25/2009

US distributor Funimation will be releasing Katsuhiro Otomo‘s 2006 live-action adaptation of Mushi-Shi (aka Bug Master) on DVD in August.
Based on a Yuki Urushibara manga and subsequent 2005 anime series, the film follows the exploits of Ginko (Joe Odagiri), a “Mushi Master” who travels from place to place curing people of ailments caused by strange, practically imperceptible creatures with supernatural powers called Mushi.
Region 1, NTSC. Japanese and English-dubbed audio tracks available with selectable English subtitles. Features include deleted/extended scenes, Mushi-Shi premieres, theatrical trailer, and previews.
