Amazon has posted a listing for a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack release of Yoshihiro Nishimura, Tak Sakaguchi, and Noboru Iguchi’s Mutant Girls Squad with a tentative release date of September 27, 2011.
Synopsis: When it comes to the world’s worst Sweet 16 parties, Molly Ringwald’s got nothing on Rin (Yumi Sugimoto), a bullied teen whose birthday present is finding out she’s a robot-clawed mutant. Good thing there’s a Mutant Girls Squad waiting to take her under their wing. Whisking her away to a special school for other mutants, the girls teach Rin the ropes and, best of all, show her how to exact revenge on the humans who made her life a living hell. - Netflix
