Oh! Mikey Fever - Media Factory

The Japanese late-night sketch comedy show “Vermilion Pleasure Night” had a few memorable gags, such as “Zombie Family” and “Midnight Cooking”, but none went over as big as Oh! Mikey, a sitcom spoof where the American expat Fuccon family (who are played by creepy grinning mannequins) say the most absurd things while staring straight ahead. Sketches would often end on a serious or disastrous note, with the entire family laughing inappropriately. Now the sketch has been stretched out to a feature-length film, including the family’s first Christmas story.
