Otakus in Love cover art

Two co-workers at Tsugino Happy Inc. decide to spend the night together with drastically different expectations. Mon Aoki (Ryuhei Matsuda) fully expects his virginity to be lovingly commandeered, but instead he wakes up the next morning and realizes he’s unwittingly hooked up with a manga-obsessed cosplayer (Wakana Sakai). She gradually coaxes him into participating in her world of manga and anime, but it proves to be too much for him to handle. After things begin to crumble between them they have to decide if their love for each other is more important than their artistic differences.

Region 2, NTSC, 2-disc, DVD-9, anamorphic widescreen. Japanese audio with optional English and Japanese subtitles. Main disc includes audio commentary. Bonus disc includes making-of featurette, interviews, deleted scenes, animated intro sequence, and a music clip by Sambomaster. For the priced-down single disc re-release, see this link.
