In Riding the Metro (Metro ni Notte, 2006), salesman Shinji (Shinichi Tsutsumi) is at the subway when he receives the news that his father is dying. Oddly, he thinks he catches a glimpse of his long-deceased brother and attempts to follow him. However, when he leaves the subway station he finds himself transported back to 1964.
