Rodan and War of the Gargantuas - Classic Media

Classic Media will be releasing Rodan and War of the Gargantuas as a double disc set in September. In Rodan (Sora no Daikaiju Radon) a town is besieged by giant caterpillar creatures originating from a newly-discovered coal mine. However, worse is in store for them as an egg in the mine eventually hatches, unleashing the giant pterodactyl-type creature Rodan. As word spreads of the creature, the entire world braces for its impending attack.

In War of the Gargantuas (Frankenstein no Kaiju: Sanda tai Gaira) a giant green Frankenstein-like monster wreaks havoc and destroys a freighter in the ocean. When he gets cornered and almost killed by humans, a second brown Frankenstein monster arrives and saves him. However, the brown one has no idea how evil the green one really is and will soon have to protect the humans from his rampage.

Region 1, NTSC. Includes US and Japanese versions of both films with multiple audio tracks and optional Japanese subtitles. Features include “Bringing Godzilla Down To Size” documentary.
