A former rugby player is hired by a school full of delinquents. He attempts to turn their attitudes around, but is met with nothing but violent outbursts and more bad behavior. He’s frustrated at first, but over time he gains the students’ trust and forms a rugby team that eventually wins the 1976 Kyoto Prefecture rugby tournament.
