In an attempt to consolidate his reign and eliminate any possible threat to it, Tokugawa Ieysu orchestrates a feud between the Iga and Koga clans by ordering each of them to choose 5 of their most powerful ninja warriors to fight to the death. Two of these representatives, Gennosuke (Joe Odagiri) and Oboro (Yukie Nakama) are actually lovers. They see the strategy being employed by Tokugawa, but in the end they have no choice but to be pitted against each other.
Blu-ray region A, anamorphic widescreen (1080p). Japanese and English-dubbed Dolby TrueHD audio tracks with English subtitles.
