Shinji and Yui are a couple who work together in the same video store. One day Shinji is discovered on the floor laying in a pool of his own blood, dead. It’s unclear if the death was accidental or murder, but Okamoto, the store manager, seizes the opportunity to be alone with Yui. He puts her in his van and begins a strange, unexpected road trip with an unclear final destination.
