DVD release - Synesthesia [S.A.V.E.] (Funimation) available on May 31, 2011

On May 31, US distributor Funimation will re-release Toru Matsuura’s psychological thriller Synesthesia (Gimme Heaven, 2006) as part of their priced-down S.A.V.E. (Super Amazing Value Edition) series of DVD re-issues.

Plot: A rare condition called synesthesia, a sensory problem that mixes up stimulus triggers, causes Mari (Aoi Miyazaki) to become alienated from society from most of her life. However, when she finally decides to try to step out into the world she gets mixed up with a potential serial killer and must be rescued by another man with the same condition she has.

Specs: Region 1, NTSC, anamorphic widescreen, DVD-9, 2 discs. Japanese and English-dubbed audio tracks with selectable English subtitles. Features TBA.
