When the hot-headed Fujio (Tadanobu Asano) kills his boss for trying to humiliate his bald-headed friend and jujutsu mentor Mitsuo (Show Aikawa), the two decide to dump the body at “Black Fuji”, an ever-growing mountain of dirt where everyone brings their unwanted appliances, trash, and relatives. Unfortunately on this day the mix of everything that had been dumped on Black Fuji over the years caused the dead to rise and become marauding zombies. Mitsuo decides the best thing to do is to travel north, because that’s where Russia is and everyone knows Russia is manly. Fujio agrees, but mixes up directions and ends up driving south for hours, right into the heart of zombie central.

This is a UK release. Region 2, PAL. Japanese audio with English subtitles. Features TBA. For the R1 US release, see this link.

@yobgol Most DVDs are interlaced to look better on older TVs. It does seem a bit tougher for PC players to deinterlace Viz releases though (Thu. 4:47pm)
