Tora-san, Our Lovable Tramp HD Remastered Edition - Shochiku

In the first of what would become a legendary 48-film series, Torajiro returns home to Tokyo after a 20-year absence to discover both his parents have died and his sister Sakura is engaged to be married to a painter. Tora-san offers to give her away and meet her fiance’s parents at a formal celebration only to single-handedly ruin the marriage with his loud mouth and overbearing personality. He later falls in love with the daughter of a priest but discovers she’s preparing for a marriage of her own. Heart-broken, he decides it’s time to hit the road once again. Region 2, NTSC.
