A little late in posting this, but according to Blu-ray.com, Media Blasters sub-label Tokyo Shock will be releasing Ryuhei Kitamura's Versus (2000) on Blu-ray this December next August.

Plot: Prisoner KSC2-303 (Tak Sakaguchi) breaks out of prison with his cellmate to meet up with the yakuza who facilitated their escape. Unfortunately, he hasn't arrived yet and his underlings have taken some girl hostage for some unknown purpose. Suspicious and impatient, Prisoner KSC2-303 grabs the girl and takes off into the forest, unaware that an ancient grudge is about to be settled from a past life he has no recollection of. To make matters worse, the forest itself has the power to resurrect the dead, and happens to be a prime spot for yakuza hitmen to bury their victims. Soon, yakuza zombies are everywhere, and Prisoner KSC2-303 has to take them on before taking on his mysterious rival (Hideo Sakaki)
