Young Japan 2 Two-Fer - Artsmagic US

Artsmagic (US) is releasing a series of 5 Japanese movies on DVD which feature juvenile delinquents. As an added bonus, each movie will come packaged with a different part of the Salaryman Kintaro anime. This is the second part in the collection and includes Shinya Tsukamoto‘s “Bullet Ballet” packaged with “Salaryman Kintaro Part Two”. Region 1, NTSC. Japanese audio with English subtitles.

Plot: An ad exec named Goda (Tsukamoto) is mired in depression after his girlfriend’s suicide and becomes obsessed with obtaining the same model of gun she shot herself with. In his search he crosses paths with a street gang who beat him senseless, but he’s slowly becoming preoccupied with one of their members, Chisato (Kirina Mano). Once he finally finds the gun he was looking for, he inexplicably decides to protect the gang that beat him up.
