Adrenaline Drive (1999)

Adrenaline Drive is a Japanese movie written and directed by Shinobu Yaguchi. It was released by Nippon Shuppan Hanbai and There’s Enterprise in Japan on June 12, 1999.

In the film Masanobu Ando stars as Suzuki, a car rental employee who gets caught up in an unlikely chain of events which leads to him going on the run from the yakuza with a suitcase full of cash and a young nursing student named Shizuko (Hikari Ishida) by his side.

The two of them have fun spending the money and experience the beginning stages of an awkward romance as a gang of bumbling thugs track them down on the orders of their ill-tempered boss, Kuroiwa (Yutaka Matsushige).
