Partners: The Movie II (2010)

Partners: The Movie II is a Japanese movie directed by Seiji Izumi. It was released by Toei in Japan on December 23, 2010.

Following up the extremely popular, long-running TV Asahi drama series and 2008’s Partners: The Movie, the film follows Special Assignment partners Ukyo (Yutaka Mizutani) and Takeru (Mitsuhiro Oikawa) as they investigate a man who has taken twelve commanding officers hostage in the main headquarters of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

However, as soon as they begin to learn more about the perpetrator, he’s suddenly killed under extremely suspicious circumstances. Eventually, the new partners begin to unravel a conspiracy within the police force itself.
