Dear (2012)

Dear is an upcoming Japanese movie directed by Yasuo Furuhata. It will be released by Toho in Japan on August 25, 2012.

Ken Takakura stars as a guidance officer named Eiji who takes his recently-deceased wife’s ashes on a road trip to scatter them in the sea of her Kyushu hometown as per her final wishes. During his journey, he meets up with several other characters along the way as he comes to terms with his wife’s death.
