Bengal

Bengal is a Japanese stage and film actor. he was born Haruo Yanigawa (柳原晴郎 / YANIGAWA Haruo) on August 17, 1951 in Tokyo.

He got his stage name after a particularly convincing performance mimicking a bengal tiger in a play directed by Juro Kara. From that point on, his fellow theater group members started calling him Bengal.
