Blood is a Japanese movie directed by Ten Shimoyama. It was released by There’s Enterprise Inc. on April 29, 2009.
Aya Sugimoto stars as a vampire named Miyako who lives in a mansion. When a detective named Hoshino (Kanji Tsuda) visits her home during a homicide investigation, she takes an interest in him (more specifically, his blood) and leads him to a man named Ukyo (Jun Kaname) who just happens to be biting a young woman’s neck at that very moment.
However, Ukyo is no simple murderer. He’s actually the legendary late shogunate era swordsman Okita Sōji and was converted to vampirism by Miyako long ago. She soon converts Hoshino too, and a fierce battle between the two men begins with Miyako as the prize for survival.
