Blood: The Last Vampire is a live-action adaptation of the 2000 animated film by the same name. It was directed by Chris Nahon and stars South Korean actress Gianna Jun.

Jun plays Saya, a 400-year-old half-human, half-vampire demon killer. Blood-sucking demons have been battling humankind for countless generations, and she wants nothing more than to kill the oldest, most powerful among them: Onigen (Koyuki). She forms a tenuous partnership with a human shadow organization called “The Council”, who are more than happy to supply her with the blood she needs to survive in exchange for having a demon assassin on call.

The Council sends her on an undercover mission to a US military base in Japan. The place is infested with demons, and the theory is that if she kills enough bloodsuckers, Onigen will be flushed out in the open. However, the plan goes haywire when a girl named Alice (Allison Miller), a general’s daughter, witnesses a battle and the Council goes to extremes to cover up their involvement…
