Confessions is a Japanese movie directed by Tetsuya Nakashima and based on an award-winning novel by rookie author and housewife Kanae Minato. It was released by Toho in Japan on June 5, 2010.
In the film Takako Matsu plays a teacher whose daughter was recently murdered. Believing two of her own students were the culprits, but also knowing that juveniles can never face a truly severe punishment under Japanese law, she plans an intricate revenge and watches from afar as it’s set in motion.
