Dear Doctor (2009)

Dear Doctor is a Japanese movie written and directed by Miwa Nishikawa. It is based on her own novel of the same name. The film was theatrically released by Asmik Ace Entertainment in Japan on June 27, 2009.

Eita plays a recent medical school graduate who travels to a small mountain town to work under a physician named Ino (Tsurube Shofukutei). He immediately gains respect for the way Dr. Ino cares for each of his patients and spends an inordinate amount of time listening to their problems. However, Soma begins to notice problems with Ino’s medical skills, and it soon comes to light that the caring doctor he’s gained so much respect for is actually a fraud on the run from the law.
